Animal populations are smaller, but sightings in this sparse setting tend to be extremely interesting. From the dunes at Sossusvlei, to the life-giving Kunene river in the remote Kaokoveld, to the salt pans of Etosha, this 11-day exploration offers something for even the most hardcore Afrophiles.
