A Cambodian Odyssey

OVERVIEW

The Kingdom of Cambodia was once known as the Khmer Empire, responsible for the construction in the 12th century of one of the largest monuments in the world, the magnificent Angkor Wat. Modern-day Cambodia is benefiting from three decades of relative stability, having endured civil war and the murderous rule of the Khmer Rouge in the 1970s. This journey explores both aspects of this fascinating country in the span of only 6 days.
