OVERVIEW
Mozambique has the longest stretch of Indian Ocean coastline in Africa, stretching some 2500 kilometres from the southern border with South Africa to the northern border with Tanzania. The civil war which ended in 1992 ensured that this tropical paradise remained inaccessible, but since that time, the infrastructure has become world-class, meaning that countless unspoiled archipelagos and beaches are now a chip and a putt from Johannesburg – the perfect way to wind down after touring Southern Africa.
