OVERVIEW
Madhya Pradesh is the geographical heartland of India and is home to many of the best and largest tiger reserves in the country. Chief amongst these are Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Pench National Parks, all key members of India’s Project Tiger, set up in 1973 with the aim of ensuring a viable population of Bengal tigers in their natural habitats. Pench has the added claim to fame of being the village that was home to Mowgli in Kipling’s Jungle Book. This itinerary combines all three of these beautiful sanctuaries into a ten-day adventure in search of tigers and other residents of the Indian jungles.
